INVITATION

Sunday, 22 March 2026 | 2:30 p.m. | Termini 487, Amsterdam Noord

At KiMu Children's Art Museum, everything revolves around wonder, exploration and imagination: the keys to personal growth and social innovation.

On Sunday 22 March, we will be opening our doors with a festive celebration featuring the exhibition Parallel Processes. For this exhibition, artists Brian Elstak, Willem Harbers and Roos van Haaften provided input for the design of our studios. Regular groups of children followed their own path of experimentation and free expression there. KiMu received support for this project from TOEVAL GEZOCHT. The result is an exhibition in which the worlds of children and artists meet and in which the creative process takes centre stage. The festive opening will be performed by the Amsterdam children's mayor Kiyaro. Afterwards, science journalist Mark Mieras will talk about the creative brain, based on our own film about the creation of the exhibition.

We hope to see you there until 22 March. Your children are of course also very welcome!
