"This is not a Fumoflapod" is a unique piece. It looks like a large pipe but, as the title suggests, it isn’t. Of course, the title refers to Magritte’s work “Ceci n’est pas une pipe.” In all my work, the function of objects is always central. All my works are reminiscent of things you recognize from everyday life, yet they are not quite those things. So what are they doing here, and why are they here? An invitation to reflect on the things that surround us.
