Borderless Art Explore is a route along visual artworks in the villages de Wijk (Drenthe) and IJhorst (Overijssel) and in the landscape of the border river the Reest. Over 20 indoor and outdoor locations in and around the villages de Wijk and IJhorst and the Reest valley in between provide a beautiful art route. The landscape of the Reest is a beautiful area in which this route of 8 to 9 kilometers long is very suitable for walking or cycling.
The route is open to visitors during three weeks each time from Thursday to Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. In 2024, it will be from May 16 to June 2.

I installed Extractoscoop on the beautiful little church square with the archaic water pump in IJhorst. They became part of the installation and that worked out perfectly. The little square seems made for this work of art. It was a beautiful sunny day which did justice to the contrasts in shapes and colors between the surroundings and Extractoscoop. Here are some pictures that show the whole work as well as the small details. I am very satisfied with the whole and thank the organization for their confidence in me.
